Siberian scientific research institute of plant protection |
The activity of SCRIPP is aimed to organization and development of fundamental and priority applied researches in farming, agricultural chemistry, agricultural soil science, melioration, plant protection and coordination of scientific researches in scientific and research institutions of the region in these areas, scientific support of agricultural sector, international scientific and technical cooperation, education and training of scientific personnel. The institute researchers were first in the Russian Federation who developed on the basis of determined system relations of natural and anthropogenic factors of governance of plant production process, methodological basis of adaptive landscape farming systems for different soil and climatic conditions and production intensification levels. The principles of scientific grounded principles of farming policy are developed, which give an agricultural producer an opportunity to choose optimal cropping techniques by himself considering available production resources and ecological limits of production operation. Optimal crop rotation schemes for various levels of farming intensification are developed. A new concept and organic reproduction method in agrocoenosis soils is proposed, based on determination of equilibrium and critical humus content levels in soil. Cause and effect relations have been determined, conditional on stabilization of humus content in old-ploughed soils by supply of plant rests to them (Dr. of Biology I.N. Sharkov and others). A new complex method of long-term forecast of large ecosystem anomalies is developed, on the base of which farming adaptation and other nature management areas to climatic and weather anomalies is carried out (Cand. of geographic sciences V.А. Ponko). A new diagnostic scale of black soils effective fertility is developed depending on amount of humus labile fraction and 4 levels of black soils effective fertility are determined (Dr. of Biology I.N. Sharkov, Cand. of biological sciences S.L. Bukreeva). Basic construction principles of agricultural ecosystems optimized according to phytosanitary characteristics are determined. It is determined, that most important techniques for optimization of relations between crops and hazardous organisms are selection of kinds and sorts of plants resistant to them, optimization of plants mineral nutrition, sowing terms. High effectiveness of new biological preparations are shown in management of phytosanitary states of field agrocoenosis. (Dr. Of Biology N.G. Vlasenko, Dr. of Agriculture L.F. Ashmarina, Cand. of agricultural sciences N.М. Konyaeva). On the basis of retrospective monitoring regularities of population and injuriousness dynamics of locusts in Siberia are determined and pest control measures are grounded by their massive reproduction (Dr. of Agriculture, Member of Academy А.N. Vlasenko, Candidate of biological sciences О.А. Ivanov, Cand. of biological sciences R.N. Fisechko). Potato assessment method of disease resistance, such as bare patch and phomosis is developed (in cooperation with SSRIPGS). (Cand. of agricultural sciences N.М. Konyaeva, Cand. of agricultural sciences А.А. Malyuga and others). Methods of infestation recording has been developed and adopted, which enables detection of specific effect of herbicides even in small plots of land (Dr. of Biology N.G. Vlasenko, Member of Russian Academy of Agriculture А.N. Vlasenko, Cand. of biological sciences N.А. Solosich, cand. of agricultural sciences P.I. Kudashkin). For the first time for extreme conditions (on example of Novosibirsk region) spring wheat cultivation techniques were developed, based on consequent overcoming the factors preventing the increase of cereal crop capacity and production quality, which contributed to the increase of cereal crop capacity in the region by 1,5-2,5 times and saving production capacities by 25-35%. The methods of barley cultivation in West-Siberian conditions for beer brewing purposes were developed (Member of Russian Academy of Agriculture А.N. Vlasenko, Dr. of Agriculture V.K. Kalichkin, Dr. of Biology N.G. Vlasenko, Dr. of Biology I.N. Sharkov and others). Ecological assessment of crop cultivation techniques was carried out (Dr. of Biology I.G. Bokina) The group of creative researchers at NSD SD RAA (SSI: SSRIPGS, SPTIAP, SSRPTSI) and Ministry of education (Siberian State geophysical academy) developed the design methodology of adaptive landscape farming systems with use of new information systems (GIS technologies). It was implemented as computerized workplace of agronomist- land surveyor and of agronomist-technologist. For more than 40 years the scientists of the institute transferred for implementation into agricultural production about 200 scientific works in farming, agricultural chemistry, agricultural soil science, melioration, plant protection against diseases and plant pests. Now scientific departments of Siberian Scientific Research Institute of Plant Growing and Chemicalization are represented by three departments: of farming, soil fertility and plant protection, including 8 laboratories. The institute employs 45 researchers, including 11 doctors and 23 candidates of sciences, 1 corresponding member and 1 member of Russian Academy of Agriculture. Personnel education is carried out at the institute by means of postgraduate course in 4 specialties: general agriculture; agricultural soil science, agricultural physics; agricultural chemistry; plant protection. The institute carried out researches in cooperation with leading western and domestic companies to improve plant protection systems against hazardous organisms, with Humboldt University (Germany) to issues of soils cultivation improvement. The cooperation with institutes of SD RAS (such as those of cytology and genetics, soil science and agricultural chemistry, organic chemistry) is going on, as well as with Belorussian Academy of Science on rational use of natural resources. Leading scientists and researches of the institute are awarded with honorary titles: Russian Federation State Prize Laureate - Member of Russian Academy of Agriculture A.N. Vlasenko, "Honored Science Worker of RF " - Corresponding Member of Russian Academy of Agriculture N.G. Vlasenko and Doctor of Agriculture, professor N.V. Semendyaeva, "Honored Agronomist of RF" – Member of Academy A.N. Vlasenko, Cand. of Agricultural Sciences L.N. Iodko, Cand. of Agricultural Sciences Yu. P. Filimonov, "Honored Agricultural Worker of RF" – A.V. Grankin, "Honored Ecologist of RF" – V.S. Grebennikov |
